This video was filmed during my travels through the south and central regions of Sri Lanka — a trip that was as challenging as it was inspiring.
Far from the typical postcard paradise, Sri Lanka revealed itself as a place of contrasts, intensity, and raw beauty.

Between the endless heat, chaotic traffic, and vibrant everyday life, I found moments that felt truly cinematic: trains cutting through the jungle, temples bursting with colour, wild elephants crossing roads, and beaches so peaceful they seemed untouched by time.

Through this short film, I wanted to go beyond landscapes — to capture the feeling of immersion, the sensory chaos, and the small, human moments that make this country unforgettable.

It wasn’t a relaxing holiday — but it was one of those trips that remind you why you love to travel, film, and tell stories. 🇱🇰
